AS9100/ISO9001
projects. This position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections (first article, in-process, and final) utilizing conventional precision measuring equipment. (calipers, micrometers, digital height gages, etc.) Programming and operation of Zeiss CMM (Calypso software), Keyence Optical CMM, and/or Faro arm experience desired. Perform receipt inspection of materials, parts, and consumables, including maintaining QA controlled inventory. Perform XRF (X-Ray Fluorescent) and hardness testing of materials. (training provided if no previous experience) Ensuring quality requirements are maintained to meet MM QA Program and Customer requirements. Verifying that all inspection activities performed at MM are according to Customer requirements, procedures, and purchase order / contract agreements. Performing assigned QC witness / hold points as identified in work travelers. May require travelling to Customer/Supplier facilities. Interfacing with Customers and Production personnel. Temporary assignment to other activities/duties as needed to support the business.
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control inspection activities utilizing Faro Arm CMM and/or Keyence Optical CMM. Completed Zeiss Metrology, Keyence Optical CMM, and/or Faro Arm Training Classes desired. A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control inspection activities utilizing precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.) A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control inspection activities in a mechanical or electrical discipline.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate quality and technical requirements. Knowledge and experience in

ASME BPVC
Section
VIII, ASME BPVC
Section III experience a plus. Minimum 2 years' experience with knowledge and practical experience working with nuclear QA Codes and Standards desired. Machinist/Fabricator experience is a plus. Nuclear commercial grade dedication experience is a plus. Experience in aerospace (AS9100) QMS quality department is a plus. Flexible hours to meet emergent Customer needs.
