Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to conduct comprehensive testing and inspections of materials, components, and assemblies in the oil & gas industry. You'll ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality excellence. Roles and Responsibilities Inspect in-process parts, finished products, and purchased materials using established inspection procedures and measuring equipment Perform dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing (NDT), and hardness testing on piece parts and receiving materials Conduct thread inspections to
API 5CT, 7-1
standards and premium connections (VAM, Tenaris, JFE) Verify conformance to specifications by measuring dimensions of completed products and workpieces Review material test certificates during receiving inspection and ensure drawings/specifications are current revisions Maintain and update calibration database; coordinate outsource/in-house equipment calibration schedules Prepare detailed inspection documentation, reports, and performance records Raise, update, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective/Preventive Action Requests (CPAR) Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with company's Quality Management System, HSE policies, and industry regulations Communicate inspection results and defects to supervisors and key stakeholders effectively Skills / Education High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Trade Certificate 3-5 years minimum experience in oil & gas products inspection Proficiency with standard measuring equipment and ability to interpret quality control specifications, schematics, and drawings Computer literate with Microsoft Office software Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English with strong verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with basic math skills and systematic problem-solving abilities Proven understanding of industry safety standards and quality expectations ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) Level 2 certification in at least 2 NDE methods (LPT & MPT) #LI-KP1
