Job Description
Take on a pivotal leadership role at a critical access hospital serving Alaska Native communities in Southwest Alaska. As Deputy Director QA/QI Clinical Pharmacist, you'll lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives across pharmacy services, ensuring regulatory compliance, patient safety, and optimal therapeutic outcomes. This position also shares in the daily clinical pharmacist responsibilities ensuring clinical pharmacist skills remain fresh. The ideal candidate holds an active, unrestricted US pharmacist license (willing to obtain Alaska licensure within 1 year), a B.S. Pharm or Pharm.
D., and experience with medication reconciliation, therapy management, and drug utilization review, along with strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and accreditation standards. CPHQ certification, 5+ years of pharmacy practice with at least 3 in QA/QI, and hospital/inpatient and EHR experience are preferred. This role offers highly competitive compensation with a $15,000 sign-on bonus, full comprehensive benefits package and Campus Housing is available.
