Manages and oversees all steps related to quality control as part of the quality management strategy of a company. May involve leadership of a team of quality control technicians and other associated staff members.
Overview Eklutna Construction & Maintenance, LLC (ECM) is currently seeking for immediate hire a Construction Quality Control Manager position. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of
DOD/USACE
construction and have completed
USACE-QCM
for Contractors. ECM is a 100% minority-owned enterprise, certified under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. ECM is primarily a federal government contractor with current and upcoming design-build and multi-year JOC type contracts on multiple military bases around Alaska. To qualify, the applicant must possess one of the following criteria: Qualifications and Criteria for Consideration Graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate with a BS degree in construction management and have a minimum of (5) five years construction experience on construction similar to this Contract. In lieu of the education and experience requirements for the CQC System Manager, a candidate may qualify provided they have a minimum of 7 years in construction quality control and are International Code Council (ICC) certified as a Commercial Building Inspector. For Military Family Housing projects, ICC Residential Building Inspector certification is required in lieu of the Commercial Building Inspector certification. OSHA 30 Construction, HAZCOM Train the Trainer, Lead Awareness Certified, First Aid and CPR certifications preferred. Additional professional accreditation's (e.g., P.E., LEED, PMP, etc.) and trainings/certifications are a plus. Experience with collaborative project delivery methods (i.e., CM/GC, Design/Build, etc.) and a proven history of cooperation with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors is preferred. Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
