Job Description
Position Summary The Quality Manager supervises the Quality Control staff responsible for the overall quality control program and quality assurances. The Quality Manager ensures that products or services the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) provides are fit for their purpose, consistent, and meet both external and internal requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes legal compliance and customer expectations. The QSM develops and maintains a performance matrix that supports the Project's Quality Management System (QMS). The QCM ensures surveillance inspections are performed and results measured against QMS standards. Assists branch managers and supervisors in developing processes that improve work performance. Essential Functions of the Position Direct and coordinate quality assurance programs/plans and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan Coordinate with activities to ensure they meet the required quality standards listed in the PWS Conduct research and analysis of problems to determine if problems are human error or systemic. Investigate and report injuries and incidents involving employees and damage to property. Conduct Root Cause Analysis of Incident/Accidents of various programs Implement
