Position Title :
Quality Control Assistant Manager ■General Responsibilities :
Manage quality control activities for new vehicle launches and KD parts at HMMA. Track pilot part orders and develop inspection plans based on customer requirements. Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with established quality standards. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and Glovis HQ to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Supervise sorting operations and subcontractors to prevent defective parts from reaching production lines. Investigate root causes of quality issues and suspected LOTs and coordinate timely corrective actions. Manage Part Problem Reports (PPR) and maintain accurate records in the GQIMS system. Manage scrap and disposal processes for nonconforming or damaged KD parts and update inventory records. Manage FIFO processes related to Engineering Order (EO) changes and coordinate the release of parts according to production schedules. SupportISO 9001/14001
certification renewals and related quality/environmental management activities. Support insurance claims for damaged KD parts and coordinate ship-back processes to South Korea when required. Inspect KD parts and packaging conditions to proactively identify potential quality issues. Provide guidance and operational support to PM shift team members to ensure smooth quality operations. ■Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in quality control, quality assurance, automotive manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Experience with Hyundai quality systems or automotive OEM/Tier 1 operations is highly preferred. Knowledge of quality management systems, including QMS/EMS andISO 9001/14001
, is preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Leadership or team coordination experience preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required.
