Job Description

The Quality Engineer with be responsible for overseeing manufacturing-related processes, ensuring they are in control and all products produced at the facility meet customer requirements. They will ensure site certification of
ISO 9001
quality system and coordinates Quality audits, will coordinate investigations and corrective actions on all plant-related customer complaints, and will use Lean/Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement across our business. Additionally, they will be responsible for assessing quality training needs and provide training to all site employees .
Pay Range:
80-110k, depending on experience
Shift:
Monday thru Friday (Either 6am-2:30pm, or 7am-3:30pm)

Full Responsibilities:
Responsible for site certification of
ISO 9001
quality system. Coordinates Quality audits with our cooperate ISO staff and customer audits. Oversees manufacturing-related processes, insuring they are in control and all products produced at the facility meet the requirements of the end-use customer. Ensures that process conditions are monitored and controlled for product consistency and according to the specified conditions. Ensures that products and process changes are in accordance with our company and customer quality requirements. Oversees the testing in accordance with Lab Performance Policy and applicable Mil-Specifications so that all product grading is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner. Represents the plant in all aspects of professional dealings with customers, the technology community, and the commercial group. Resolves and communicates on customer complaints and oversees technical and quality questions from internal and external sources. Coordinates investigation and corrective action on all plant-related customer complaints. Uses Lean/Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement across our business. Assesses quality training needs and provides training to all site employees. Aware of EHS policies and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in engineering related). Preferred 5 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment (would consider 3 strong years on a case-by-case basis). Required 1 year of experience working in a regulatory environment. Required 1 year of experience managing EHS procedures. Required Experience, training or certification in ISO 9000, and AS 9100. Preferred Leadership experience managing direct reports. Preferred SAP or other ERP experience. Preferred #ST101
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
