Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic QA/QC Manager to oversee and unify our Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams. Reporting to the Manager for Quality and Service, you will lead a two-pronged approach to quality: driving systems, engineering, and preventative measures through your QA Supervisor, while managing floor-level execution and active inspections through your QC Supervisor. In this role, you will not just maintain our current standards — you will provide vision for our future Quality Management System (QMS) and program.

Key Areas of Responsibility Strategic Leadership & Vision Departmental Oversight:
Directly manage, mentor, and develop the QA Supervisor and QC Supervisor, encouraging a cohesive, high-performing culture across both teams. Quality Assurance (QA) Management Overseeing a specialized team focused on systems and prevention through theQA Supervisor:
QMS & Documentation:
Oversee the maintenance and continuous evolution of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure rigorous document control.Risk Engineering:
Guide the creation, review, and refinement of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEA & PFMEA).Root Cause & CAPA:
Oversee the management of advanced root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) for complex quality issues, driving internal and external Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to closure.Audits & Calibration:
Oversee the management of the calibration program which includes internal/external audit schedules and ensure compliance and accuracy of all calibrated tools and instruments. Quality Control (QC) Management Overseeing a team of floor inspectors focused on active production lines through theQC Supervisor:
In-Process Inspection:
Oversee the management of the daily activities of QC floor staff stationed at sheet metal, welding, assembly, paint, and electrical lines to conduct process, material, and in-process product audits.End-of-Line Verification:
Ensure rigorous checking and validation of end-of-line testing data before products are cleared for shipping.Floor Compliance:
Guarantee the accurate and timely completion of all QC checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the production floor. Non-Conformance (NC)Systems NCR Management:
Oversee the end-to-end non-conformance system across both departments.Quarantine Control:
Ensure strict adherence to the red-tag process and closely manage the intake, review, and disposition of materials moving into and out of non-conformance/quarantine areas (Material Review Board processes).Qualifications & Experience Experience:
5+ years of quality leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of managing both QA systems and QC floor teams.Certifications:
ASQ certifications (CQM/OE, CQE, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are highly preferred.Technical Knowledge:
Deep expertise in QMS (e.g., ISO 9001), DFMEA/PFMEA, root cause analysis methodologies, and metrology/calibration standards.Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and a proven "drive for results" mindset capable of leading organizational change.Quality Vision:
Provide long-term vision for the quality program, driving continuous improvement initiatives and setting aggressive, achievable targets for defect reduction and process optimization. Drive forResults:
