Job Description
Overview The Quality Control Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving Adura's Quality Management System (QMS) across PCB fabrication, PCB-A assembly, and integrated box-build operations. This role ensures that all products meet IPC, customer, and regulatory requirements for Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Industrial, and Medical markets. The position plays a critical role in preparing the organization for advanced certifications including
AS9100, IATF
16949, andISO 13485.
Key Responsibilities Quality System Leadership Own and maintain ISO 9001-certified QMS Drive readiness and implementation planning forAS9100, IATF
16949, andISO 13485
Develop and maintain quality manuals, procedures, control plans, and work instructions Lead internal audits, supplier audits, and customer audits Production Quality Oversight Oversee incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final acceptance testing Define inspection standards for SMT, THT, conformal coating, and box-build assemblies Establish X-ray inspection criteria for BTC/QFN components and void analysis Ensure proper implementation ofIPC-A-610
Class 2 and Class 3 standards Monitor SPC, CPK, and yield performance metrics Root Cause & Continuous Improvement Lead structured root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, Pareto) Drive CAPA processes and verify effectiveness of corrective actions Analyze scrap trends, rework data, and customer returns Partner with Process Engineering to improve yield and reduce variation Traceability & Compliance Implement and maintain serialized traceability systems Ensure MSL control, ESD compliance, and environmental control standards Support PPAP documentation for Automotive programs Maintain documentation integrity for regulated market builds Team Leadership Lead and mentor quality inspectors and technicians Establish training programs for IPC standards and quality procedures Develop quality dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership review Requirements 7-12+ years experience inPCB / PCB-A / EMS
