$80,000 - $125,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking an experienced QC Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in our company's growth and success. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and a solid understanding of structural drawings, welding, inspections, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:
As the QC Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including: 1. Oversee the quality control operations in our engineering projects, ensuring all activities comply with necessary regulatory standards and specifications. 2. Review structural drawings, welding procedures, and other technical documents to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements. 3. Conduct regular inspections and audits, identifying any areas of concern and implementing corrective measures when necessary. 4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met. 5. Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 6. Train and mentor staff on quality control measures and protocols. 7. Prepare and present detailed reports on quality control activities and findings to senior management. 8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in quality control.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree preferred 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control management role in the Manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in reviewing structural drawings, welding, inspections, and interpretation of drawings and specifications. 4. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and quality control standards. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. 7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 8. Proficiency in using quality control software and other relevant tools. 9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. 10. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
