Quality Assurance Coordinator Integrated Food Service - 3.2 Gardena, CA Job Details Full-time $70,304 - $73,500 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Food hygiene Attention to detail QA/QC Productivity software Manufacturing Full Job Description Overview Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the assisting on the implementation and assurance of an overall quality program and its objectives. In which includes standards, policies and procedures, Quality documentation, audit protocols, and information maintenance. The Quality Assurance Coordinator has the secondary accountability for ensuring BRC Certification and executing its standards. Responsibilities and/or Requirements Manage Internal Audit Program
  • Participates with Approve Supplier audits and inspections
  • Manage Alchemy Training System
  • Conducts and documents validation and verification activities to meet BRC Standards
  • Coordinate training for all QA/QC programs
  • Coordinate and train plant employees in Standard Operating Procedures and quality programs
  • Assist the QA Manager in developing, writing, and implementing quality programs
  • Act as liaison between the QA Manager and the QC Team
  • Evaluate existing procedures and documentation for compliance to meet standards for quality production
  • Oversees Quality Control schedules to meet production needs
  • Liaison with Pest Control company and participates in the exit meetings
  • Provide strategic resolution to quality non compliances
  • Maintain trend analysis for Quality Control Team performance
  • Maintain Quality Control Supervisors performance
  • Primary oversight of Quality Control Team
  • Presents Quality topics in Quality meetings
  • Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management
  • Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)
Management Experience Preferred :
  • Previous experience in the food industry
  • HACCP Certified
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels, promoting a high performance organization
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and strong supervisory skills Competencies
  • Understanding of Global Food Safety Initiative Programs
  • Understanding of HACCP and Critical Control Point
  • Computer skills in document creation, and spreadsheet are required
  • Proficiency with MS Office (such as Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within a team environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills
Pay:
$70,304.00 - $73,500.00 per year
