Full-Time | Direct Hire Overview We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts on complex industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for driving quality standards, mentoring inspection teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor QA/QC Inspectors, setting clear expectations and supporting professional development Oversee implementation and execution of the Project-Specific Quality Control Plan Manage First-In Inspection processes to proactively reduce fabrication and installation errors Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards Collaborate with Project Management and General Contractor teams on quality planning, inspections, and issue resolution Review design documents, vendor quality manuals, and inspection records for compliance Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to evaluate processes and identify improvements Track, document, and report quality issues, including non-conformances and corrective actions Participate in project meetings to align on schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations Evaluate vendor-supplied materials and components for acceptance and future sourcing decisions Prepare and present reports on QA/QC performance and improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including ASME and industry standards Qualifications Associate degree (or equivalent experience) required 8+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial or commercial construction Strong background in:
ASME B31
piping codes Welding, fabrication, and installation Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) 3+ years of leadership experience managing QA/QC teams Working knowledge of ASME Section IX BP&V Code Experience developing and reviewing welding procedures and qualifications AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Senior CWI (SCWI) ICC Mechanical - Commercial Certification (Preferred)
