Epic Personnel Partners is currently hiring a QC Manager in Brighton, CO .

Flexible Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager ensures that all products meet company, client, and regulatory standards for food safety, sanitation, and quality. This position oversees the Quality Assurance, Cheese, and Janitorial departments while maintaining compliance with HACCP, GMP, and FDA requirements. The QC Manager plays a key role in upholding safety, sanitation, and production standards across all shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise Quality Assurance, Cheese, and Janitorial departments. Oversee daily plant quality and sanitation operations across multiple shifts. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards. Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and inspection records. Conduct internal audits and oversee product inspections and release programs. Monitor corrective actions for failed processes, recalls, or discrepancies. Communicate with clients regarding product quality and issue resolution. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external agencies. Enforce safety, sanitation, and production standards. Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and conduct employee evaluations. Promote teamwork and a positive work environment. Support DC operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of warehouse or production supervision experience (food or wholesale industry preferred). Working knowledge of
HACCP , GMP
, and FDA compliance standards. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS systems . Certified or experienced in operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Ability to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college-level management or quality control education. Experience overseeing multi-shift quality operations. Knowledge of MSDS documentation and food safety auditing. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Prolonged standing and sitting at a computer workstation. Ability to work in temperature-controlled warehouse environments (dry, cooler, freezer). Safe operation around heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
