They specialize in sourcing and delivering complex, legacy, and hard-to-find components, where quality, compliance, and traceability are critical.
Job Description Responsibilities:
Own and manage QMS (ISO 9001 / AS9100 / AS9120) Perform and oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections Make real-time accept/reject decisions and document in ERP systems Execute and approve First Article Inspections (FAIRs) Program and operate CMM equipment Manage calibration systems (M&TE) and audit readiness Lead inspection team workload, performance, and accountability Drive corrective and preventive actions (CARs) Coordinate source inspections and external audits Track and report key quality KPIs (defects, returns, on-time delivery) MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
Mechanical Engineering degree Background in aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing environments Strong expertise in GD&T and blueprint interpretation Hands-on experience with CMM and precision inspection tools Experience with FAIRs, CoCs, and quality documentation Proven leadership experience managing inspection teams Detail-oriented, decisive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment What's on
