Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QC Supervisor to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives within our food distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as , FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP. This role is pivotal in maintaining product integrity, safety, and regulatory adherence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The QC Supervisor will coordinate quality audits, manage inspection processes, and lead a team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality assurance and control. Duties Supervise daily quality control activities across manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, HACCP, and CGMP requirements. Lead internal and external quality audits to evaluate compliance with regulatory standards and identify areas for improvement. Oversee quality inspections at various production stages, ensuring products meet specifications through rigorous testing and analysis. Coordinate root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate recurring issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and regulatory affairs to ensure seamless integration of quality processes. Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, inspection reports, audit findings, and compliance records. Provide training to staff on quality systems, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements to foster a culture of quality awareness. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and process efficiency; report findings to senior management. Support project management efforts related to new product introductions or process improvements by applying robust QA/QC methodologies. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong focus on Quality Control (QC) supervision. In-depth knowledge of (quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP standards. Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive quality audits and inspections effectively. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes including root cause analysis, CAPA procedures, and validation protocols. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions. Experience in implementing or managing integrated quality systems within regulated industries. Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for training staff and collaborating across departments.
