Manufacturing Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead and support quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the company's quality system, supporting regulatory compliance, leading corrective and preventive actions, analyzing quality issues, and promoting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of

CGMP, ISO 9001, FDA

regulations, quality systems, root cause analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement, along with the ability to lead and train quality and production teams. Key Responsibilities Quality Systems & Compliance Ensure adherence to the company's Quality Management System. Assist the Quality Manager with establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems. Maintain quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and other quality documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001, FDA, GMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements. Support internal and external quality audits. Prepare audit reports and assist with closing audit findings. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Quality Improvement Conduct root cause analysis for process and product quality issues. Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma. Analyze production data to identify process variation and opportunities for improvement. Work to reduce defects, improve processes, and increase overall product quality. Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to management. Production & Process Quality Work closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure new products are transferred to production according to approved specifications and data. Support Quality Inspectors in ensuring products and processes meet quality requirements. Assist with receiving and outgoing quality activities. Continuously improve receiving inspection processes and procedures. Define appropriate measurement methods and equipment for key quality characteristics. Ensure quality and production employees follow current work instructions and procedures. Supplier Quality Monitor and support the resolution of supplier quality issues. Ensure timely completion of supplier corrective and preventive actions. Assist with supplier performance evaluations. Work with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve quality problems and prevent recurrence. Customer Complaints Investigate customer complaints related to product quality. Analyze failures and determine appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Work with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues. Allocate appropriate resources based on the source and severity of quality problems. Training & Team Leadership Lead and support the Quality team. Develop and provide quality awareness training. Train Quality and Production employees on updated procedures and work instructions. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Calibration & Validation Maintain the calibration program for Quality Department instrumentation and equipment. Develop validation protocols in accordance with the plant's validation master plan. Ensure measurement equipment and quality processes meet established requirements. Additional Responsibilities Support company policies related to workplace conduct, diversity, and affirmative action. Notify Human Resources of matters requiring HR involvement, including workplace harassment concerns. Follow all company procedures, instructions, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ISO 9001, CGMP, FDA, OSHA, and EPA requirements. Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen. Experience leading or training quality and production personnel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with supplier quality and customer complaint investigations. Ability to work effectively with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Production, Purchasing, and other departments.
