Quality Control Manager - Electric Infrastructure Fort Stewart, GA 31315 Full-time Full-time David Boland, Inc., a general contractor located on Florida's Space Coast, has over 50 years of proven success specializing in the construction of Federal Government projects nationwide. Our team pursues diverse opportunities from aviation and aerospace to manufacturing, healthcare, and education in the $10M to $75M range, all in support of our country. An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead, manage, and direct the quality control functions to ensure the independent verification of quality standards is met throughout all phases of the construction process for the 10MW Generation Plant with Microgrid Controls project at Fort Stewart, Georgia . As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading, managing, and directing the quality control staff. Interacting with Owner's representatives to address and resolve quality control issues. Implementing the three-phase control system for all aspects of work. Daily observation of the work and performing ongoing inspections to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved submittals and contract requirements. Reviewing all inspections and test reports to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Ensuring submittals are timely received, reviewed, submitted to the Government, and tracked in project management software. Ensuring documentation of quality control activities. Project close-out. This position requires education and experience as follows: • Graduate engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) registration with ten (10) or more years of construction experience, preferably including experience in electric transmission, distribution, and/or generation; or • Graduate engineer or graduate of construction management with fifteen (15) or more years of construction experience, including a significant portion in Federal Government construction projects and experience in electric transmission, distribution, and/or generation.
