Franklin, GA Position Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the Quality Control department to ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Key focus is on continuous improvement of plant operations to improve efficiency, increase profitability, and maintain a safe work environment for all employees. The QC Manager is responsible for ensuring product conformity, compliance with customer requirements, and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. This position has the authority to stop or hold nonconforming products, approve dispositions, and direct corrective actions. General Responsibilities Direct and coordinate daily operations for the Quality Control department. Oversee all levels of QC staff activity and performance. Ensure company policies, procedures, and ISO requirements are in place and followed. Convey company objectives and initiate continuous improvement activities. Monitor QC performance metrics and coordinate necessary activities to ensure all metrics are achieved. Ensure staff are well trained, competent, and motivated to succeed. Provide leadership in corrective and preventive actions, including nonconformance investigations and customer complaint resolution. Collaborate with Plant/Operations Management to align QC goals with company objectives. Lead or support internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits as required. Maintain and improve quality documentation, including Control Plans, Work Instructions, and other ISO-required records. Perform all other duties/responsibilities as directed by upper management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or management is preferred. 5+ years of QC management experience is required. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF and customer - specific requirements. Proven leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills. Proven competence in quality metrics, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
