We're seeking a hands-on Quality Control Manager who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional quality. •This position requires relocation to Southwest Georgia •
Quality Control Manager Benefits & Compensation:
Salary up to $80,000 Relocation Assistance Monday through Thursday schedule: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Friday schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Opportunity to lead an established quality program Stable manufacturing environment with long-term career growth
Quality Control Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience within manufacturing At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Experience with inspection methods, quality testing, and precision measurement equipment Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to analyze quality data and present findings to leadership Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Must Haves:
Proven experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment Experience developing and maintaining quality procedures and documentation Strong knowledge of incoming, in-process, and final product inspections Experience implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality Ability to partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues Experience maintaining quality records and supporting regulatory compliance
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing operation Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process inspections, and final product inspections Develop inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality standards Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Coach, mentor, and develop Quality Control personnel Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance Promote a culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
Quality Control Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement initiatives Background working with supplier quality programs Experience auditing manufacturing processes and quality systems Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive operational improvements Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional teams Passion for building high-performing teams and improving manufacturing quality
