Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Quality Supervisor
  • 2nd Shift (6:00PM
  • 6:00AM) Monday
  • Friday.
Responsible for leading the daily execution of quality activities within the manufacturing facility. This role provides direct supervision to Quality Technicians, ensures compliance with quality standards and procedures, supports containment and corrective action activities, and serves as the primary quality representative for their assigned shift. The Quality Supervisor works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality leadership to drive product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, supporting production operations, and developing a strong quality culture throughout the facility. Responsibilities Supervise, coach, train, and develop Quality Technicians while establishing daily priorities and workload assignments Promote a culture of quality, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Ensure inspections, testing, audits, and quality documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures and standards Monitor compliance to product specifications, work instructions, quality standards, and Quality Management System requirements Lead containment activities, including identification, segregation, disposition, and release of nonconforming materials Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve consistency Conduct process and quality system audits, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliance and effectiveness Communicate quality performance, concerns, trends, and escalation items to leadership and facilitate effective shift-to-shift communication Maintain accurate quality records, reporting metrics, and support KPI tracking and analysis Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of quality inspection and testing equipment Support inventory inspections, sorting activities, and internal/external audit activities as required Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Understanding of quality management principles and manufacturing processes Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and technical documents Strong organizational and communication skills with great attention to detail Experience leading and developing employees and teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience preferred Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred Experience with inspections, audits, and quality systems required Experience in a manufacturing environment required
Requirements:
Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit English/Spanish Fluency Compensation based on experience
