2:00 pm to 1:00 am- From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor.
EXPERTISE
to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: . Maintains QA objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. . Oversees insect and rodent prevention programs and follow up with plant sanitation. . Informs all essential personnel on new/changing regulations related to the Quality Control function within responsibility. . Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals. . Demonstrates professionalism in all aspects of plant's rules and regulations and encourages quality personnel performance. . Identifies strengths and/or weaknesses of the employees and demonstrates the ability to train and coach to strengthen weaknesses and utilize strengths. . Performs administrative managerial duties in an accurate, timely, and professional manner (phone calls, voicemail, paperwork, meetings). . Works to facilitate the exchange of data between various departments and QA employees to ensure quality compliance is met. . Maintains open communication with all employees and managers; actively seeks ways to improve employee relations. . Performs daily, weekly, and monthly observations and submits written monthly plant inspections with conditions needing improvement to plant management. . Communicates results to production, packaging, and managers when discrepancies arise and offers solutions. Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education- Bachelor's Degree in Food, Dairy, or Natural Science from a four-year college/university preferred. Experience
- 2-3 years' experience in both Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- 2+ Years Management. Specialized Knowledge
- Microsoft Office Proficient; Work, Excel, Outlook
- ISO quality management systems.
- HACCP
- Statistical process regarding regulatory agencies, i.
