Summary We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality Management System and food safety programs within a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory and SQF compliance, and deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations. How YOU will Contribute Quality Systems & Compliance Lead and manage all components of th e Quality Management System (QMS ) to ensure compliance wit h S QF, customer, and regulatory requirements. Establish, maintain, and leverage th e internal audit program to verify compliance with SQF programs, MOPs, SOPs, and other standards. Manage and oversee third-party and regulatory audits , partnering with plant leadership to ensure successful outcomes. Continuous Improvement & Risk Management Partner with plant leadership to driv e process improvements that support plant and departmental metrics, includin g Cost of Quality. Identify and mitigate product and process risks through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Utiliz e Voice of the Consumer (VOC) data to refine product quality and communicate actionable insidghts to operations. Leadership & Team Development Provid e leadership, coaching, and mentorship to quality and technical teams. Develop team capability acros s quality competencies and support career growth. Facilitat e training programs to ensure employees understand how their roles impact food safety and product quality. Collaboration & Business Support Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, resolve challenges, and meet organizational objectives. Support internal stakeholders throug h data analysis, project leadership, and technical expertise. About YOU 5+ years of experience in Quality or Food Safety within food manufacturing. Experience in meat or protein production is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred field s:
Food Science, Biology, Quality Management, Meat Science , or related discipline. HACCP Certification preferred.
Lean / Six
Sigma preferred.
