Quality Specialist (QS) Location

YOUR TASKS
Oversee and implement the quality management system (QMS) in line with the company's quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and ensure they meet the company's requirements and standards. Ensure that all non-conformities are immediately addressed and resolved. Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure that company-wide quality standards are maintained and enhanced. Design, develop, and implement best quality practices and processes for product developments. Collaborate with internal teams to implement and maintain procedures, standards, systems, and procedures that comply with the company and industry quality standards. Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor statistical method reporting and ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist in quality audits and follow up to ensure that corrective actions have been effectively implemented. Coordinate with the training department to ensure that all employees are trained on quality systems, regulations, and safety procedures. Monitor risk management activities and perform regular audits to ensure that standards are being adhered to. Participate in failure analysis and investigation, reporting the findings to the relevant team, and proposing appropriate corrective measures. Monitor and manage the Customer Feedback Program, ensuring that all customer complaints are handled professionally and swiftly.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Salary Range:
$73,500-$78,000 Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Business, or Engineering-related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a Quality Specialist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality-assurance methodologies, tools, and standards. Understanding of industry's regulations, standards, and its latest trends are also highly desirable. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001 etc.). Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods. Experience with quality management systems and conducting quality system audits. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, and other quality system applications. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and work in a team environment.
