Job Overview Gabby's is seeking a detail-oriented Food Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance programs throughout our industrial bakery facility. This crucial role requires you to ensure compliance with company's food safety required standards, including but not limited to BRC, AIB, HACCP, and CGMP's. Responsibilities Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, personal safety, good manufacturing processes, appropriate state and/or federal regulations and appropriate industry defined standards Ensure development, and compliance with Hazard Analysis and Control Points program. Develop and implement Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Allergen Control Programs. Provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with these programs. Develop, implement, and manage new and ongoing quality and food safety training programs. Maintain database of allergens in the facility, control their storage, ensure all labeling reflects the degree of allergen risk appropriate to the individual product. Ensure products are properly packed, labeled and coded. Responsible for recall procedures - maintain documentation and records, knowledgeable of recall system, regulatory authority and crisis communication, along with annual test of effectiveness and modification when necessary. Ensure suppliers have and enforce standards for product quality and food safety. Obtain proper documentation from suppliers (Suppliers Approve program, Letters of Guarantee, MSDS). Knowledge of purchased ingredients and their usage. Ensure that outgoing and received products and ingredients meet specifications and quality parameters and are stored in a prescribed safe and sanitary manner. Develop, test, implement and manage quality operational procedures, practices, requirements and standards (SPC) to insure product meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements. Represent facility during third party and regulatory audits. Key individual for providing audit response and feedback for third party and regulatory audits. Develop and manage programs to track, document and respond to customer complaints. Experience Experience/familiarity with The British Retail Consortium (BRC), American Institute of Baking (AIB) International consolidated standards of inspection, GMP's, HACCAP Programs. Must be organized, accurate, and demonstrate ability to meet objectives with great follow-through. Must be able to accurately maintain all documentation, analyze information and create reports. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to build positive relationships across all levels. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Must have leadership background. Pay:
