Direct Client Interview Slots Available Within 3 Days Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Asphalt QC Lab Manager to oversee asphalt quality control operations for assigned plants. This is a direct client requirement responsible for material testing, lab operations, equipment calibration, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company and agency specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee daily asphalt production and material testing. Coordinate mix design changes with QC Managers to achieve quality and cost targets. Manage lab operations, technician schedules, equipment maintenance, and calibrations. Ensure yearly lab inspections, plant calibrations, and required documentation are completed. Prepare and submit QC reports, test records, charts, and project-specific QC addendums. Identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies. Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of asphalt materials testing and civil construction methods. Experience with asphalt plant QC operations and laboratory procedures. Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Availability to work nights and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications
DOT/IDOT
asphalt certifications preferred. Prior experience managing asphalt QC lab operations.
