Quality Control Manager Addison, Illinois Up to $125,000 The Opportunity A well-established industrial manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and develop site-wide quality systems. This is a key leadership role focused on driving ISO9001 and AS9100 compliance , improving product reliability, and supporting operational excellence across the facility. The Role You'll take ownership of the entire quality function on-site, leading a team of inspectors and technicians while implementing robust quality control systems. This role blends hands-on leadership , process improvement , and technical oversight , working closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure consistent quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and manage site quality control systems in line with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards Supervise quality inspectors, technicians, and lab personnel to ensure high performance and technical integrity Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues, driving corrective actions Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and inspection criteria Partner with production and plant leadership to improve product reliability and reduce cost Provide statistical and technical expertise to support decision-making and process improvements Oversee inspection activities throughout the full production cycle Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation Design and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and capability across teams Requirements / What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar) preferred Minimum 7+ years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality systems Proven leadership experience managing quality teams and inspection functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across departments Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable taking a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach Package Up to $125,000 Benefits package including healthcare and retirement options Opportunity to lead and shape the quality function within a growing operationSimilar remote jobs
