About Our Client Our client is a leading manufacturer of electrical assemblies and fixtures serving commercial and residential markets, including offices, hotels, and restaurants. Based just outside Chicago, the company employs approximately 130 people and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and reliable customer service. Job Description Design and implement a quality management system best suited for our business model. Develop, implement, and maintain quality-related KPIs for all sites. Manage and oversee the RMA process within in all North American manufacturing facilities Oversee & participate in Customer Satisfaction activities Participate in design for manufacturability activities for cost effectiveness & product Manage & Maintain revision control on all production and quality documentation and records in accordance with best practices and business objectives. Work closely with vendors on quality issues to bring to a conclusion. Includes SCAR/8D generation and resolution. Maintain and track all quality issues and manage to resolution Manage incoming quality, in-process inspection, final quality, and all quality-related activities. Measure, manage, report, and control all Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) activities throughout the organization. Perform administrative duties concerning company policies, rules, quality, and safety Ensure all production employees are properly trained in Safety, Quality and job-specific skills. Deploy & create PFMEA documentation, methodologies, and practices. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree required (Engineering focus is preferred) 5+ years of quality experience Background in an industrial manufacturing environment Electronics manufacturing background is preferred
