Product Quality Supervisor - Night Shift

At StarPlus Energy, a joint venture between Samsung/Stellantis, join us in establishing the first plant of its kind in Indiana. As a member of our team, you will play an important role in our company's positive culture by helping us build and maintain an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. This is a night shift position and includes some weekends. The Cell PQC (Process Quality Control) Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of PQC inspectors who will perform inspection of the products of the plate and assembly processes utilizing appropriate inspection methodology, in support of the Cell PQC Manager. The PQC Supervisor will be responsible for verification of standards for all the inspection items, and for updating and optimizing inspection standards as needed. The PQC Supervisor is responsible to ensure that all product inspection and production process controls are carried out based on the internal procedures and policies. When defects are found, the PQC Supervisor must lead containment, analysis, and resolution to prevent defect propagation. The PQC Supervisor is also responsible for documentation, communication, and sharing of corrective actions for all issues. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct training for cell PQC Inspectors Provide coaching and mentoring support to Cell PQC inspectors To ensure all PQC Inspectors complete all assigned tasks in timely and efficient manner Lead investigation and root cause analysis of non-conformances. Ensure continuous monitoring of all corrective actions and process improvement measures Review and update product specifications, inspection standards, manuals, and lesson learned activities Ensure on-going data collection and analysis to assure cell quality Continues improvement activity to optimize and enhance the efficiency of quality and inspection systems Maintain quality inspection equipment and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure inspection accuracy and repeatability Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement of quality system Develop, implement, and monitor efficacy of corrective and preventive actions Prepare updates and reports of quality outcome to communicate quality activities Provide management updates regularly Facilitate reviews to eliminate internal systemic and external roadblocks. Collaborate with management on team road map and strategy Work closely with key stakeholders to provide delivery according to schedule Manage multiple priorities and deliver internal and external results on time Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements for Cell Quality Assurance Areas of Leadership and Technical abilities Action / Results oriented: Problem solving, attitude, deliver projects on time with high quality Strong presentation skills to clearly articulate: business problems, analytical approaches, potential solutions & recommendations Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations per team goals Ability to anticipate "what if" scenarios High level of written and verbal communication

Basic:

Minimum Age:

18 years old Must be able to work nights and some weekends Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skill Minimum of 5 years of industrial automation and controls experience with strong foundation in project management Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Must be eligible to work in the United States While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international) Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering ASQ Certification in Quality and Reliability Bilingual English / Korean Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing Shainin Red X or Six Sigma Certification Experience with Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plans, FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, MSA, and SPC. Familiar with World Class Manufacturing pillar methodology and implementation Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications

$79,000.00 to $87,000.00
