Job Description

Overview EngineAir Inc. provides a variety of remanufactured and select new engine components for locomotives. We have been providing quality parts to the rail and marine industry for over 30 years and take great pride in the quality and service that we provide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead manufacturing quality assurance initiatives within our production environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Job Description:
Responsible for the Quality Management System.
Responsible for the following processes:
Quality Assurance, Project Development (APQP),
Internal Audit, Business Planning and Management Review, and Continual Improvement Job Responsibilities:
A. Maintain a Company-wide Quality System. 1. Ensures that all Employees are trained and aware of the Quality Policy. 2. Serves as the Management Representative to all Customers regarding Quality System questions. 3. Serves as the Corrective and Preventive Action Coordinator. 4. Ensures that APQP process and documentation occur. 5. Acts as the Lead Auditor for the Company's Internal Audit process. 6. Provides information to Management concerning the ongoing condition of the Quality System during scheduled Management Review meetings. 7. Leads the Management Review meetings. 8. Produces Cost of Quality and related measures reports. 9. Leads the monthly Measures Review meeting. 10. Manages the Quality Manual, Procedure, and Work Instruction documentation system. 11. Creates or updates various quality and manufacturing documents, e.g., Rebuild Specification Sheets, Operator Process Instructions, Tags, etc. 12. Ensures that the Gage Control and Calibration systems are up-to-date and gauges are usable. 13. Directs the ongoing adherence to all Quality System procedures. 14. Ensures all customer specifications and documents are obtained, reviewed, maintained, and communicated to all functions. B.

1. Leads the AAR Implementation Team. 2. Tracks transition issues to closure. 3. Ensures that documents are created or revised to comply with

Qualifications:
1. Quality Management Experience 2. 5 years related experience
  • a. Manufacturing environment b. Quality systems or laboratory experience c. Gages
  • Use, calibration, and train others d. Process development e. Internal Auditor experience f. Document and data control 3. Computer skills
  • MS Office Suite
  • Word, Excel, etc.
