| QA/QC Electrical Project Manager | Mission Critical | Field/Site-Based (Travel) A national specialty contractor with multi-trade capabilities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building technologies is hiring a QA/QC Electrical Project Manager to support mission critical construction projects in the Kansas City metro. The company operates across the U.S. and is known for its single-source delivery model, safety culture, and investment in virtual design and fabrication capabilities. This role puts you at the center of high-stakes data center construction — owning quality from ground-up through closeout, on projects where the margin for error is essentially zero. Anticipated $100K-$145K, depending on experience GSA Per Diem rates apply when assigned to out-of-area jobsites Full suite of benefits: Health (HSA-eligible)/Dental/Vision, 401k with 3% fully vested company contribution + discretionary annual contribution, PTO, etc. Site-based project work (field)
Overview:
Own and execute QA/QC activities across all phases of electrical construction on mission critical projects, ensuring work meets contract documents, codes, and client standards from mobilization through turnover Manage field staff performance, subcontractor quality compliance, and vendor adherence — you are the quality authority on site Build and maintain complete QA/QC documentation packages, coordinating between project teams, inspectors, and client stakeholders throughout construction Keep schedules, budgets, and quality outcomes aligned — escalate proactively, not reactively Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and community officials; represent the company's standards on every interaction Travel to out-of-area jobsite assignments as required; this is a site-based role that moves with the work
Preferred Skills/Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field — OR — 5+ years of electrical construction field trade experience accepted in lieu of degree Minimum 5 years of electrical construction project management experience on large projects, with direct oversight of electrical construction work QA/QC experience on mission critical or data center construction projects strongly preferred Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication; organizational discipline required for QA/QC documentation demands Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must meet company vehicle operation requirements Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
