Quality Assurance Manager COMPANY :
Specialty Grocery DC We are looking for a forward thinking, Results driven Quality Assurance Manager to join our team! The right candidate will have heavy experience working in a fast paced Distribution Center.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise all warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager. High level of computer and WMS system literacy. Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred. Education and/or
Experience:
  • Some college level management education and/or 2 years warehouse supervising in wholesale industry
Computer Skills:
  • Strong computer skills required; with knowledge in MS Office, Excel and WMS system literacy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations in the Quality Assurance, Cheese and Janitorial departments for all shifts
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components.
  • Monitor, enforce and further develop plant HACCP program Knowledge of MSDS
  • Ensure that all quality assurance programs and procedures are being implemented correctly
  • Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met. Oversee the process of store orders to ensure the highest level of service to the customer. Assist and maintain high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations.
Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies. #SLY123

Full-time Pay:
$62,000.00 - $68,500.00 per year
