Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) supports the hospice service line by providing administrative and operational quality support through the collection, analysis, and reporting of non-clinical quality data . Working under the direction of the Quality Nursing Supervisor, this role assists with internal and external quality audits, including HOPE and administrative documentation reviews, to support regulatory compliance and organizational quality initiatives. The QAC also serves as an administrative resource for the EHI Quality Team by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, transcribing meeting minutes, and maintaining accurate quality records. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality-related data is accurate , timely , and organized to support performance improvement, survey readiness, and leadership decision-making.
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required . One (1) to Two (2) years of quality, compliance, or administrative experience required . Prior healthcare or health care-related administrative experience preferred. Demonstrat es advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records ( EMR ) , and other organizational software systems. Customer- focused with the ability to perform effectively and manage competing priorities under pressure.
