    • F ul l-Time/Regular J ob Summary R es ponsible for preparing documentation related to laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and ISO certification activities. They will also be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, as well as preparing and safeguarding related records. P ri mary Duties and Responsibilities
    • S rving as a focal point for QA/QC and will be responsible for the oversight and review o f quality control data on a routine basis.
    • C mpiling daily Statistical Quality Control (SQC) data from all test methods that require a n SQC, to ensure the laboratory is operating efficiently.
    • C ordinate all internal and external Proficiency Testing activities for the laboratory.
    • P epare and maintain SQC charts and Proficiency Testing summaries.
    • A sist with continual improvement and implementation of the Quality System Manual ( QS M) and Laboratory Quality System Manual (LQSM).
    • P epare for internal, customer, and regulatory assessments according to the quality system procedure.
    • C ordinate the initiation of laboratory related Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and P re ventative Action Reports (PAR), prepare assessment reports, laboratory related c us tomer complaint reports, and assist Laboratory Manager maintain all records for review.
    • C ntrolling the laboratory equipment and supply inventory. Coordinate the replacement/ repair of faulty equipment and supplies. Must also perform instrument calibrations and maintain verifications as per schedule.
    • A dress all technical issues that arise from routine analysis and confer with Laboratory M an ager/Supervisor on issues of a less routine nature.
    • P ovide training to laboratory personnel.
    • A t as a liaison between Laboratory Manager and laboratory personnel.
    R eq uired Skills S ki lls/Qualifications B ac helor's degree in a technical discipline and 2 years of quality related experience 5+ years of quality related experience Mu s t possess strong managerial experience and interpersonal skills, as well as t ec hnical and theoretical knowledge of quality systems G oo d interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees and outside c on sultants, executive management, and colleagues W or king Conditions S om e travel may be required. Work is performed both in an office and a laboratory environment. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. AmSpec Services provides product information, training, engineering controls, and personal protective equipment in an effort to protect employees from exposure to potentially harmful levels of those materials. Employees are required to read product information, use available engineering controls, follow guidelines presented during training, and be able to wear and use appropriate protective equipment, including respiratory protective equipment, as may be required by the work environment.
