POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager (QCM) - is an individual that will ensure that all internal and external requirements are met before the product reached the customers. The QCM will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes and non-conformity issues. The QCM must work closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and repair documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the Quality Control Function/Activities of the production operations of the company including but not limited to Quality control Inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records. Supports the Productions Manager and Facility Manager in dealing with the Customers for all quality related issues or concerns Assess the implementation of the QA/QC plan at the facilities Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality records Evaluates the qualifications of welders and fitters with regards to the activities and tasks assigned. Oversees and evaluates the qualifications of the Quality inspectors Supports and Participates in internal/external audits. Assist in appraising the customer requirements and feedback to make sure that they are satisfied with our products. Ensure compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements, codes and standards. Plans duties with the Quality Control Function staff and related work schedules Identify and develop QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs. Provides leadership, mentoring and direction for QA/QC staff Manage facility and product integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations. Controls all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actions and responses. Identify and develop solutions to correct any deficiencies in the products, procedures, processes or inspections. Reviews customer specification and requirements and undertakes relevant training to the Facility QC Inspector. Monitor and implement the approved site QC plan. Manage all documents needed for ASME Code or non-code equipment per API inspections Open, file and record all necessary information that applies to the proper code of the equipment being built Assist in providing the information needed to purchase all raw materials in accordance with proper code Perform and approve all calculations made through compress to ensure the equipment is up to spec with code and accurate for proper drawings details Assist in ordering code and non-code heads and shells Lay out daily timeline with all needed information to perform any radiograph testing needed on all equipment Coordinate and provide descriptions and documentation with stress analysis company for any heat treating needed on equipment Prepare and host needed AI/ASME audits Enforce quality and performance on all equipment during the production process Ensure proper translation of quality approved equipment to the next party in line Manage daily hydro AI inspections Manage, record and update any and all weld procedures per code Certify and document training and testing of all welders Complete final approval of quality equipment before shipment takes place Ensure all equipment complies with and is built to customer required specification as well as any other regulatory specification which would apply.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Prefer four-year degree from accredited university; however, job work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. High School diploma is mandatory. Advance knowledge of qualifying ASME or API standards and codes, welder/welding operator. qualifications, including local regulatory requirements. Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role. Proficient in methodologies of quality assurance and standards. Great attention to detail and a result driven approach. Certification of quality control is a great advantage. Excellent communications skills in English. Valid U.S. driver's license.
