Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor in MA. We are seeking a QA Supervisor to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily quality activities on the production floor, leading QA Technicians, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coach QA Technicians, providing training and daily support. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality and food safety issues on the production floor. Conduct daily communication with QA staff regarding production schedules and quality concerns. Review and maintain operational and quality documentation. Support internal and external audits (customer, regulatory, and GFSI), including follow-up on findings. Assist with product holds, traceability, recalls, and formula changes. Oversee product releases and daily product reviews, including customer complaints. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, food safety, and reducing foreign material contamination. Act as backup for the QA Manager when needed. Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in food manufacturing Quality Assurance. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a food production QA department. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Flexible schedule, including weekends when required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. #JDP
