Direct hire, full time •Must be US Citizen• Position Summary The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with
ISO 9001
standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory or industry specifications. The position serves as a key cross‑functional leader, collaborating across multiple business units to align, standardize, and continuously improve processes that support product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead the alignment, integration, and standardization of quality processes across multiple business units to ensure consistency and operational efficiency Ensure quality systems comply with ISO standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory specifications Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, document, and define organizational processes Identify deviations from quality standards and implement effective corrective and preventive actions Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QMS effectiveness and reduce defects Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and stakeholder meetings to promote process harmonization and best‑practice sharing Oversee internal audit programs and ensure ongoing audit readiness Act as the primary point of contact for external audits (e.g., customer, regulatory, or third‑party audits) Monitor QMS performance using metrics and data analysis; identify trends and improvement opportunities Provide training and guidance on QMS requirements, procedures, and quality standards Support risk management activities, including process risk assessments and mitigation planning Candidate Profile Strong working knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 with a history of successful audits Familiarity with regulated or standards‑driven manufacturing environments Proven ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration and influence stakeholders Strong organizational, documentation, and technical system skills Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities Experience supporting internal and external audits and compliance activities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) Education & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment Proven experience leading quality management systems, audits, and certification activities Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Professional quality certification (e.g., ASQ or equivalent) strongly preferred #JDP
