Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for overseeing the overall implementation of quality control plans, ensuring the quality of the work meets the project's contractual requirements. Manages and coordinates all quality activities at the project site. Position Details Develops, maintains and communicates QA/QC standards for the project. Reviews project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards. Conducts and manages field observations of MEP systems to determine compliance with approved plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Prepares for periodic quality control reports for the management team. Recognizes and actively engages in the development of solutions to correct deficiencies in the project. Identifies and directs corrective actions as appropriate. Maintains records, prepares reports, and correspondence, relative to QA/QC work. Organizes and runs QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings prior to work taking place in field. Provides coaching and performance feedback to direct reports as needed. Typically manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
