Brandywine, MD Shift:
Monday
  • Friday, 6-7 AM
  • 2•3 PM (flexible)
Type:
Direct Hire Job description: The QA/QC Manger will be responsible for managing all quality activities at the project site. In addition, this role ensures the quality of the work meets the project"s contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and communicate QA/QC standards for the division and then any project level requirements that are more stringent. Review project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards. Work to help standardize specifications on SI"s design build projects. Conduct and manage field observations of all MEP systems to determine compliance with approved plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Prepare regular periodic quality control reports for management team. Recognize and actively engages in the development of solutions to correct deficiencies in the project; identifies and directs corrective action as necessary. Maintain records, prepare reports, and correspondence, relative to QA / QC work. Monitor status of work and ensures work is being installed per the latest contract documents. Partner with coordination to ensure accurate install/fab and as-built drawings. Organize and run QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings prior to work taking place in field.
