Job Description

Salary starting at $135,200 based on years of experience Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Statewide CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) Director to join our Regional Office team in Columbia, Maryland. The Statewide CQI Director helps formulate and design Continuous Quality Improvement Policies and Procedures, acts as a liaison to compliance auditors and other external regulatory agencies. They provide guidance, support and consultive functions to CQI and other professional staff as well as develop and implement staff training to conduct the site-specific CQI studies. This person ensures the monitoring and trending of performance indicators on a monthly basis and helps provide system analysis to promote "best practice" in the delivery of patient care. Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Program Management, Public Administration or related field Experience in quality improvement and quality assurance which includes evaluating the quality of services, identifying problems and needs and recommending corrective action and improvements to ensure optimum service delivery, meeting of goals and objectives and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures and standards At least two years of leadership experience overseeing/coordinating the work of a multi-disciplinary team Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for behavioral healthcare delivery Experience in developing policies and procedures Experience in correctional environment preferred Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available shift: full time, days We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
