at Insight Global in Kittery, Maine, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Quality Control Manager ( QCM ) to support federal construction projects for a leading construction client specializing in complex, regulated environments. This individual will serve as the primary quality authority on site, partnering closely with the Superintendent to ensure all construction activities comply with federal contract requirements, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on federal QC experience, thrives in highly structured environments, and is confident in overseeing subcontractor performance while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting standards. This is a long-term, stable opportunity supporting mission-critical federal work. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 5+ years of true Quality Control Manager ( QCM ) experience on construction projects
- Federal construction QC experience ( USACE and/or NAVFAC strongly preferred)
- OSHA 30 and OSHA 40 certifications
- Ability to obtain base access (background check, direct access approval, "green light")
USACE QCM
certification or ability to obtain- Hands-on QC experience (inspection, documentation, reporting)
- not safety-only
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and OSHA regulations related to construction quality
- Strong understanding of:
- Activity Hazard Analyses ( AHA )
- Federal construction quality standards & specifications
- Experience performing and documenting:
- Daily inspections
- QC reports
- Direct experience supporting NAVFAC or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ( USACE ) projects
- First Aid / CPR certification
- EMT training (30-40 hours)
- Additional safety or federal construction training
