Onsite Job Description Job Description:
The Production Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality standards and compliance within the automotive parts manufacturing processes. They will lead a team of quality technicians, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement and eliminate defects. This role will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues, develop corrective action plans, and monitor their implementation. They will also play a key role in promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of quality engineers and technicians, providing coaching and support to ensure their success. Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and guidelines to meet customer requirements and industry standards. Responsible for production total quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to identify and resolve quality issues. Investigate root causes of quality defects and develop comprehensive corrective action plans, ensuring their timely and effective implementation. Responsible for production quality metrics and KPIs within Mafact standards to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex quality issues and improve process capabilities. Lead and participate in problem-solving activities, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma, Shainin, PDCA, and 8D. Train employees on quality standards, processes, and tools to enhance their understanding and adherence to quality requirements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness throughout the organization. Monitor attendance, performance reviews, vacation requests, ect.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in quality engineering in an automotive manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in leading teams. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies. Proficient in problem-solving techniques, such as Six Sigma, PDCA, Shainin, 8D, and statistical analysis. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Experience in leading a team including; performance reviews/management, disciplinary action, attendance, career development. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees. Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
