Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman - Quality Control Manager to oversee post-project landscaping jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of quality. This role involves managing crews, inspecting completed work, diagnosing issues, and providing solutions to warranty or customer dissatisfaction cases. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, strong leadership skills, and a background in managing grounds maintenance and landscaping crews. Duties Supervise landscaping crews during the completion of outdoor projects, ensuring work aligns with quality standards and client expectations. Conduct thorough inspections of completed landscaping projects, including hardscape, lawn care, plantings, and grounds maintenance. Identify and diagnose issues related to landscaping work, warranty concerns, or customer dissatisfaction. Resolve customer issues with excellent service, calm demeanor, and professional communication. Rectify problems by providing effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold company reputation. Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with grounds maintenance tasks such as lawn care and hardscape installation or repair when necessary. Identify various plant species accurately to support quality assessments and troubleshooting. Lead and manage landscaping crews on-site, fostering teamwork and ensuring safety compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor work. Previous foreman or supervisory experience in landscaping projects is required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to diagnose issues calmly and professionally. Knowledge of landscape equipment operation, hardscape techniques, lawn care practices, and plant identification. Ability to inspect completed work critically and ensure it meets quality standards. Calm temperament with problem-solving skills to address warranty issues or customer complaints efficiently.
