Job Description

Leasd all aspects of product quality for the company while overseeing staff of quality inspectors. A minimum of 10 years experience in Quality Manager level in automotive, including experience with IATF requirements, systems and audits, all aspects of PPAP's, Gage R&R, capability studies, sample part testing, process flows, control plans and work instructions, internal auditing, supplier quliaty, extensive experience as point person for customer interaction, APQP with engineering department. 1. Responsible for Quality System Maintenance 2. Assist in operational quality initiatives (Layered Process Audits, Fast Response, and Verification Stations) 3. Lead problem solving teams utilizing root cause analysis for implementation of corrective action for process related concerns (5Why and 8D methods) 4. Assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining quality management system 5. Assist with processes involving new product development and launch (APQP, PDP, PPAP) 6. Responsible for continual improvement activitites to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc. 7. Develop trainign to build quality awareness 8. Interface with engineering and operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with approved data and lead PPAPA documentation development. 9. Support teh quality inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply wiht the relevant requirements of the quality management system. 10. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determining proper conrrective and preventive actions. 11. Analyze ailure, corrective and prevenive action to respond to customer concerns. 12. Create and maintain company quality documenation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc., 13. Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures. 14. Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions. 15. Conduct supplier audits as required. 16. Preperation of QA reports. 17. Completed tasks as assigned relating to audit activities. 18. Know and follow all IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
policies and procedures. 19. Adherent to company policies and regulations. 20. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
