full-time Job description: Medbio is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership and technical support within our Quality Lab. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working closely with Production, Engineering, and Tooling while also developing and guiding a Quality team. The Quality Supervisor will oversee day-to-day Quality Lab activities, support product inspection and release, lead root cause investigations, and help strengthen quality systems, processes, and team capability. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Quality Lab personnel in support of Production activities. Serve as a primary Quality contact for lab-related issues, product concerns, and inspection requirements. Perform accurate dimensional and layout inspections on products, fixtures, and molds. Complete first article inspections, Gage R&R studies, capability studies, and other dimensional evaluations. Set up, program, and operate advanced measurement and inspection equipment. Lead root cause investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve significant quality issues. Train and coach Quality personnel on blueprint reading, inspection techniques, measurement equipment, and manufacturing processes. Review and analyze inspection data to ensure accuracy and identify trends or improvement opportunities. Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate Quality Lab performance and drive continuous improvement. Ensure required quality forms, dimensional inspection reports, check sheets, and records are completed accurately and on time. Prepare reports and communicate quality findings to internal and external customers as appropriate. Review blueprints and engineering drawings to determine effective inspection methods. Participate in the design and development of inspection fixtures and measurement programs. Partner with Production, Engineering, and Tooling to resolve issues and ensure consistently high-quality products. Help develop and maintain Quality standards, procedures, and systems while monitoring adherence. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Science, or a related technical field preferred. A combination of relevant education and progressively responsible Quality experience will also be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills. Experience using common hand-held measurement and inspection equipment. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC). Strong technical math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with structured root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and collaborate across departments.
