Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Uphold the Carlex Quality Policy
  • Maintain plant compliance to
IATF-16949
2016 and
ISO-9001
2015 standards as well as customer defined quality systems and requirements
  • Lead the development of production documentation including Control Plans, Statistic Studies, MSA Studies (Gage R&R), DVP&R, PFMEA, Standardized Work and remaining elements to meet PPAP requirements
  • Monitor customer supplied warranty data and supplier PPAP files and respond accordingly.
  • Implement Safe Launch for new Programs or Major Engineering Changes / Part move according to corporate procedures.
  • In conjunction with Corporate Quality and the Quality Manager, develop for new Programs or Engineering changes internal quality control standards for the Plant (
Example:
Sate Launch Plan, SPC SWI, Homologation Schedule, others)
  • Communicate significant quality issues related to launches throughout all levels of the Company
  • Lead problem solving with cross-functional team during the development and provide timely response Program Managers for lessons learned documentation
  • Upload APQP documentation per customer required method (e-APQP, email, anu specific portal, etc)
  • Analyze capability data and work with cross-functional team on process stabilization and improvement
  • Support series programs (customer facing events, 8D's, documentation improvements, etc) per Quality Manager request when there are no new program activities.
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
