Job Description
This is a contract Business Analyst / QA role based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with a duration of 6+ months. You will work as part of the Eligibility Beta product team, serving as a subject matter expert and senior member of the IT organization. You will lead QA team members, mentor colleagues including offshore staff, and partner continuously with the BA/QA Practice community, regression and automation teams, and stakeholders to deliver business value solutions. Responsibilities Gather business requirements Lead and mentor QA team members, including offshore team members within your product team Design, develop, and execute test strategy, test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) Establish and evolve QA best practices, ensuring that the team uses proven best practices Advocate for data collection to build and publish key QA KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) metrics Promote usage of tools, automation, and develop new processes to ensure quality goals are in alignment with stakeholder needs Execute testing deliverables for the product team Act as key point of contact for coordinating QA activities across various product teams and representing your team outside of IT Meet deadlines and work with an agile mindset Advocate for test coverage within the team from anyone who can help Demonstrate strong commitment to delivering business value through critical thinking and dedicated effort Create and support a collaborative culture with a team-oriented mindset Work collaboratively within your product team, automation team, QA Practice community, IT department, and with vendor partners Qualifications Required Advanced working knowledge and skill in the professional field with ability to function as a subject matter expert for other staff Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 7+ years of work experience beyond the degree
