Join CTI and Make an Impact CTI, Calibration Technologies, is a leading manufacturer of gas detection systems for industrial facilities. We offer the opportunity to work cross-functionally, influence decision-making, and directly impact product performance and customer satisfaction. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will shape and lead our Quality Management System, partner with engineering and production, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. CTI is located in Columbia, Missouri, a vibrant college town and home to the University of Missouri. The area offers an affordable cost of living, strong schools, and family-friendly neighborhoods, along with access to outdoor recreation, trails, and parks. Centrally positioned between St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri, Columbia provides both small-city charm and convenient access to major metropolitan areas. What You'll Do Lead implementation and improvement of our ISO 9001-based Quality Management System (QMS) Serve as the primary owner of quality performance, metrics, and reporting to leadership Oversee quality assurance, inspection, and testing to ensure product conformity Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve issues and prevent defects Support supplier quality and customer complaint resolution Develop, coach, and lead a small quality team (2-3 employees)
Requirements:
What You Bring 5+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing (electronics or precision manufacturing preferred) Hands-on experience with
ISO 9001 QMS
(implementation and/or maintenance) Strong knowledge of quality tools (RCA, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, etc.) Leadership experience with the ability to influence across teams Ability to analyze data and drive practical, sustainable improvements Certifications (CQM, CQE, ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus What Success Looks Like A well-functioning, audit-ready QMS Measurable improvements in product quality and process performance Reduced defects, rework, and customer complaints A trained, engaged, and accountable quality team Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on education and experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO) Opportunities for professional growth and development
