Job Description
Quality Manager We are looking for a highly engaged Quality Manager to champion a culture of excellence across all operations. In this role, you will lead the implementation, oversight, and continuous advancement of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with customer expectations, regulatory standards, and industry-best practices. You will serve as the primary driver of quality strategy, audit readiness, and process improvement initiatives, while developing and empowering a high‑performing quality team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is passionate about strengthening systems, elevating quality performance, and supporting safe, compliant operations. Key Responsibilities Quality Systems Leadership Oversee full deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS. Manage the internal audit program and act as the primary liaison for customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Ensure ongoing compliance with certification standards including AS9100:2016 and
ISO 9001
2015 . Design, develop, and refine quality processes that meet or exceed customer requirements. Team & Department Leadership Lead, coach, and develop quality department personnel, creating clear objectives and accountability. Establish strategic departmental goals to support business growth, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. Serve as a backup for critical functions to maintain coverage and operational continuity. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence Identify opportunities for process improvements across the facility and drive cross-functional implementation. Strengthen safety and compliance programs to reduce risk and support a safe work environment. Analyze key performance metrics to understand trends and drive decision-making. Enhance procedures, standards, and specifications to elevate product and process quality. Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities Maintain adherence to OSHA, DNR, and hazardous waste reporting requirements. Ensure quality programs are consistently executed across all shifts and production areas. Essential Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, quality improvement, or risk management roles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights. Proficiency with ERP systems and operational reporting tools. In-depth understanding of performance improvement methodologies and QMS principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated success in leading teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Preferred Skills & Experience Strong audit management experience. Working knowledge ofISO 9001
standards. Background in aerospace or other compliance-driven manufacturing environments. Work Environment This role operates across both office and production floor settings. Standard hours begin at 7:00 AM, Monday-Friday, with flexibility as needed to support multi-shift operations and audit activities.
