Quality Control Manager Location:
2925 Chief Court, Dallas, NC 28034
Work Hours:

Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and grow quality operations at our manufacturing facility in Dallas, NC. This is a high-visibility leadership role for a quality professional who wants to make a lasting impact—developing people, strengthening systems, and shaping the future of quality at the site. This position currently leads a team of four and offers meaningful opportunity to expand leadership scope and influence over time. The Opportunity As the senior Quality leader on site, you will have ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and play a key role in elevating quality performance across the operation. This role offers the chance to balance hands-on engagement with growing strategic leadership as systems mature and the team develops.
What You'll Do:
Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures for raw material acceptance, in-process controls, and final inspection Serve as the primary quality partner to Operations and Engineering, driving improvements that reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ), scrap, and rework Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint investigations Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including ISO-related activities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Quality professionals, strengthening capability and building future leaders Ensure quality measurement, inspection, and testing equipment are properly maintained and utilized Track, analyze, and report quality trends, risks, and improvement initiatives to division leadership Career Growth & Development This role is designed for a quality leader who wants to grow both people leadership and strategic influence. What We're Looking For:
Experience :
7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership responsibility in a quality, engineering, or operations role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Quality Systems:
Strong experience improving or managing a Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment
ISO :
Experience working in ISO 9001-certified environment; hands-on involvement in certification or re-certification activities preferred
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead small teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive improvement initiatives
Problem-Solving:
Strong root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement skills
Certifications:
Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications are a plus Candidates who meet most, but not all, qualifications and are motivated to grow into the role are encouraged to apply.
