We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Sample Coordinator to join a high-performing team in Durham, NC. This 100% on-site, 1st-shift position provides essential sample management oversight and regulatory documentation support within a dynamic cGMP laboratory setting.
location:
Durham, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $27 - 30 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Oversee QC in-process, release, raw material, stability, and development samples while maintaining associated regulatory documentation. Manage laboratory sample tracking and inventory systems to ensure full chain-of-custody compliance. Inspect incoming international/domestic sample shipments, evaluate temperature data logger reports, and resolve customs clearance issues. Author, revise, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical reports. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Facilities to address compliance items and implement corrective actions.
qualifications:
High School Diploma with 6+ years, Associate's Degree with 4+ years, or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline with 2+ years of GMP Quality Control Laboratory experience. Strong understanding of sample receipt and inventory management in a cGMP environment. Hands-on experience with both paper-based and Electronic Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Excellent oral/written communication skills with strong technical writing capabilities. Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally across manufacturing and quality sites.
